Double Major or Just a Major with Minor

I am wondering whether a double major in Criminology and Biochemistry would be a good combination for a double major or if I should just major in Biochemistry with a minor in Criminology. Career-wise, I am still thinking about various career choices like becoming a doctor, specifically a pediatrician, working with the FBI, anything with forensics, and anything involving working in a lab. I really need help making up my mind with what I want for the future.

major in Biochemistry with a minor in Criminology.

^t hat’s good enough for any of your career goals, and will help you to keep your GPA UP, which is what you will need IF you decide to try for Medical school.

I’m not sure how much overlap there is between the two majors’ courses - if there’s a lot, that will certainly help if you want to double major. However, it’s likely you can double major even if there isn’t overlap.

I don’t think you really have to decide now. You can always start double majoring in both, and if you like one more than the other, you can just major in that and minor in the other. It’s hard to make a decision until you know what fits you best, so just be patient. You’ll figure it out
