Double major or minor in business (with cybersecurity engineering)

My S18 will be attending George Mason, majoring in cybersecurity engineering. He is a techy nerd, but business is his passion and he knows he eventually wants to start his own company. His plan for now is to try to get an internship with a government agency while in school, work for a few years after graduation to learn and network, and then start his own cybersecurity business.

He is thinking that since he knows he wants to start his own business, he should probably have a double major. But Mason offers a specific entrepreneurship minor (http://business.gmu.edu/innovation/entrepreneurship-minor/) and as someone mentioned on another thread, he could fill any business classes that would be useful. He is very much a go-getter, so I’m thinking this may be the better route. But I admit, I know nothing about business!

Any thoughts on which way to go or whether this is a solid plan?
