At my school (UCF), I think the only difference between the two is that a dual degree is that you must satisfy the requirements of both majors AND obtain at least 150 credit hours. If you have a dual degree you get two diplomas at graduation I think. How do I know if I am doing at least 150 credit hours? Just Advertising alone is 120 credit hours. Does it matter if I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science? I'm doing a B.A. in Advertising and a B.S. in Psychology. I've asked my honors advisor through email but he didn't really understand my meaning, however I've gone to his office on multiple occasions and he is always busy.
