how hard is it to double major in lets say business and engineering at Madison?

That one is not allowed. You can do doubles within a school. Like chem and electrical eng or finance and accting.

sorry barrons, i just recently found that i could double major within school of education and another major in letters and science.
you follow the core for your primary major and just the major classes for your secondary major.

so it would be possible to major in both business and engineering?

Yes, you may double major in business and engineering. However, BS/MBA is a more typical/popular route for someone who aims to become a business-oriented person in a technical field.
