I have successfully adjusted to my new college choice (within the past month) however, I've had a change of mind. SOMEWHAT. I have been thinking about the practicality of music majoring and am not quite sure that just music alone would be enough to get me employed after college/grad school. Is it difficult to double major at Tulane?

Also, if I chose to keep just one major, and switch into say musical theater (which i may end up doing,) how does one go about doing this? IS there a lot of prior training needed? And, does anybody know the count for music majors vs. musical theater majors? Thanks!

"Is it difficult to double major at Tulane?"

Not particularly. There are even some triple majors out there. It might e a little tougher in architectur or engineering (what is left of it) given that there are a lot of requirements but doule majors in liberal arts or sciences are pretty common.

I am a double major in marketing and linguistics and have not really had a whole lot of problems yet. Two of my friends are math/physics majors and seem pretty content with their scheduling ease. Another is math/physics/french and she has some trouble, but she is determined enough to do it. Otherwise, a double major shouldn't be too bad with one being a music major.
