Ok, so far, my college experience has been full of change and unhappiness. First, I got to my university as a music ed major, decided I hated it, and switched to PR/journalism. Now, I don't even think I'm really at the right college. I'm a sophomore, and almost finished with my 3rd semester. I doubt I will transfer, because my dad works at a branch campus, which makes my tuition just about equal to what we'd pay at a community college. But if I do, I was wondering how possible it would be to double major in MT and something else. It would be international relations, PR, journalism, or perhaps criminal justice as the other major. I decided late in the game I love MT, so pretty much my choices are:

DeSales U
Muhlenberg
West Virginia Wesleyan
Marietta College
Seton Hill U

Of these schools, Muhlenberg offers a BA in Theater (not MT), and Marietta offers both a BA and a BFA in Theater (not MT). The other schools offer BA MT programs.

It’s usually possible to double major if you are pursuing a BA; BFA programs are much less flexible and most programs would require that you start over as a freshman. However, even with a BA degree, because you are already a sophomore, if you change schools and majors at this point, it may be difficult for you to graduate in the spring of 2014 as scheduled. You need to contact each school individually to find out exactly what courses are required and which of your credits might transfer.

I am so sorry that you are so unhappy with your school and major!
Going along with what onstage said, it would not be likely for you to graduate in the spring of 2014 if you change schools. Most theatre majors are rather intensive, so you would have plenty more classes to take for your new major before you could graduate. However, if you are okay with spending more time at school, the credits you have from your other major could serve as electives for the theatre one. Best of luck, and I hope your situation gets better!
