I applied for Engineering since it was limited enrollment, but I also want to do economics, I was wondering how feasible would it be to double major or should I just switch to economics? (I want an MBA, but I've heard so many bad things about business as a undergrad major that don't think I want to go that route).

I'm also in honors, the EIP program. Am I trying to take on too much?

I don’t know just how tough it will be, but my son applied as a double major - engineering and classics - and has been received very warmly by the university. If he goes to Maryland, we’ll see what the nitty gritty looks like.

My son is also applying as a double major–Computer Science and Classics–and faculty members to whom he spoke were very encouraging. I think it helps if you start college with a lot of credit from AP classes.
