Hey

I have few questions regarding to School Report Form.

There's a table with "Unweitghted" and "weighted" GPA.

I'm not sure what I should be written there.
In my country, students get grades - from 1 to 6, where:
1 - extremely bad
6 - special achievements,student goest beyond curriculum.

I have 11 subjects in this term.
Should I sup them up, divide by 11 and write it as my GPA?
Should I convert it to USA standards?

Also, how should I interpret "weighted" and "unweighted"?

The second question is about table "% to 4-year college".
What does it mean?

I thought that your school guidance/college counselor should be filling that out? It’s probably different for international students, but that’s how it’s done here. I technically could fill that out myself, because my school issues a form that details everything about school (accreditation location, courses available, etc). On this form, it has the % of students who went to a 4 year college, % who went to 2 year college, % who went to military, % who went to technical school (trade school), and % who are working/not doing anything as of yet. This goes back for the graduating classes of 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. Next year it will have 2009, 2010, 2011, and our graduating year, 2012.

Do you have a school college counselor?

I don’t think we have someone like “school counselor”…
Also, I think school doesn’t have such statistics like how many % went to colllege. But maybe I’m wrong.

Anyway, I will go to the headmaster and ask him if he know how to fill that out.
If not - I will ask you for advice.

Counselor’s responsibility is usually shared between Class Teacher, Vice Principal, Principal/Headmaster or other school officials, in non US educational systems.

I recommend that you talk to your class teacher(if you have one) or the principal.
