Douglass Residential College

Hi, I was wondering about the Douglass Residential College and the opinions of those who attended. I'm actually not too interested in women as leaders particularly or any of that stuff but am interested in the scholarship awards granted. However, what are some other benefits of the college and the extra work that comes with attending? I plan to do pre-med and the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program so I don't really want to stress myself out freshman year with extra work that I may regret...

So anyone who has attended Douglass, what is your opinion on it, the workload, and the benefits? Thanks! :)

I am not a Douglass woman (can’t be, I have the wrong ‘equipment’ as it were…)

Anyway, my daughter is, the program consists of a few extra courses – which basically count towards your diversity requirement, and has several scholarships available.

The real advantage is the networking available to you after graduation. A little additional work now, for a bigger payoff later.
