U Chicago- probably not
Case Western Reserve University- yes
Smith College- probably
Wellesley College- maybe
Bryn Mawr College- probably
Brown- no
Carleton- probably not, but you have a chance

I'm not an expert on these schools (but I am applying to Case, UChi, and Brown). Don't take this too seriously.

Make sure your essays are really, really, good- they need to be. And, unless you've read those recs, don't be so sure that they're so great. Unless you have a great excuse for your downward trend, teachers might mention that you're lazy or take on more than you can handle.

Unless you really like Rutgers, you should get another safety or two.

When you say your school is very competitive, is this your judgement or does it actually have a high ranking? That could make a difference.

wow you guys are negative... ur probably in at carleton, case western, smith... wellesley, bryn mawr are reasonable... brown and uchicago are your only true reaches, but still somwhat reasonable

if your gpa is your only "bad thing" which it really isn't, since it's a 91 on the 100 scale, and an a-... then you have a decent shot at those...

now if those gpa's were reversed, i would've said slight reach to uchicago, and a more reasonable reach to brown
