Downward trend...?

What would be considered a downward trend? In my freshman year, I got a 3.95 (all A/A+ with just one A-) and this year I have a 3.8 or a 3.78 or something (all A/A+ with FOUR A-). I'm taking a much harder courseload this year, and of course my weighted GPA is higher and I have a pretty good rank and everything, but is this considered a "downward" trend because my raw UW GPA is lower. Next year, I have an even tougher schedule, so my GPA would probably be in the same ballpark. Is this looked down upon?

I'm not at all unhappy with these grades- I'm just wondering, and need other perspectives..

If your taking a hard courseload, then no, but next year would be good to get back upto the 3.95/4.0 if possible.

alright, thanks. thats gonna be tough to do with my schedule next year, but i'll definitely try harder than this year. thanks.
