Hello. First day trying out the popular dr chung's workbook and as rumors say, the problems are quite difficult right off the bat. I'm only up to the 4th tip, but I was wondering if anyone else would like to join me in discussing/solving some of the difficult ones together by chance :)

You’d be better off with a different book. That book is filled with errors and it includes material that is not relevant to the SATs. You will find a debate about this here, but that’s my two cents.

@100cats : I’m in! Mine is still in the mail, but it’s supposed to arrive this week. Would love to join you and form a ‘Dr. Chung’s Math Study Group’ if you’d like!

@CHD2013 : Fair enough, but grammatical errors and typos aren’t really too much of an issue (assuming they don’t hinder understanding) when you’re preparing for the math component of the exam. As for it having tons of ‘irrelevant’ material, if we were under a time crunch, I can see how that would be more of a problem than an asset… but for us, who have months until the October exam, the extra material is beneficial. I mean, who wouldn’t want to learn a bit of math for the sake of it and not JUST for the SAT (if time permits)!
