Thank you for taking a moment to click. Need the insider's view.

If you attend or know friends in any of these programs, do you support their program's approach to encourage/develop writers for stage/screen?

For example: #/quality of courses, prof's attention, opportunities to stage your scripts, communication with others in related theater programs (the student actors, directors). Internships...whatever you think is most important for comment.

Am comparing:

NYU (Golberg Program of Dramatic Writing)
SUNY Purchase (Dram Writing Program)
Ithaca (within Roy Park Sch of Communications)
Emerson (the playwriting concentration)
Amherst (as Dept of Theater/Dance major, to pursue playwriting)
UCLA (hope for major via portfolio submission as soph)
Chapman (Dodge School)
Syracuse (CAS film w/ writing concentration)

Thank you mightily for your time!
