Drastic Change During Junior Year

idk if ive personally changed, but ive noticed changes among my friends and who my close friends are from the past two years

Actually, it was sophomore year in my group of friends that people changed. Some of my friends just sort of went their separate ways-- a few got into hardcore drinking to the exclusion of any other social activity, others drifted off into anime nerd obscurity, others just sort of stagnated. I changed quite a bit myself by becoming a lot more self-aware, a little more willing to examine my beliefs, and a lot more focused on intellectual beliefs.

The interesting thing is that now, in senior year, we're all sort of coming back together. We're still different, but the things that kept us apart seem a little petty now that we're only a few months from college. It's nice, because there's a real sense of community in the senior class now. Plus, I've learned to be a bit more social this year and it's a great feeling. Overall, the silly, hormone-powered drama of early highschool is fading away.

a lot of the weird geeks in the corner became actually acceptable to talk to

other than that, not really.

oh yea and almost everyone's gone through puberty now, so that's exciting. some kids i still doubt though....

seen a lot of people at the end of junior year / senior year trying to fix themselves up even though they know it's too late.. -__-
