Drexel/Lehigh BA/MD Interview

I got an interview invitation for Lehigh/Drexel also! Congrats breaker746!! Mines on the 20th also!

Hey guys, I’m also on the 20th! See you there.

Is there only one interviewer for this program? And about how long does it last?

My interview was under 30 min, and they were all scheduled in blocks that length. It was with a medical school faculty member, and lunch was with a few of the current students.

okay thanks!! How long were you actually at the medical school? Cause they say you will spend the “day” with them…

I think lunch ended at around 1 or so, that was the last thing.

Alright thats not too bad. Were you asked anything about current medical issues or any other thought-provoking things like that? I really nervous! haha

I was asked what I thought the biggest issue in medicine was.

So there were no group interviews? Just one 30 minute? Thats odd…

yea but its short  so it’ll be over faster!

I personally hate short interviews. I think 30 minutes is the bare minimum to even get a feel for a candidate, and expressing myself in less is just so difficult. My alumni interviews ave all been over 30 min, and making the program ones sorter is annoying

truee…but its probably not exactly 30 min…I guess it just depends on how how your answers to questions are.

Usually, most medical schools will do multiple interviews including a panel interview.

They like to get a good idea of the candidate all around. How he can debate, speak, communicate, etc.

That is why I thought Drexel odd…

So who’s planning on attending this program??? I just got my acceptance yesterday!!!

My D is also planning to attend Lehigh/Drexel.
@warmmilk did you receive any info on merit scholarship? Are you from NY/NJ area ? and m or f?

I havent gotten any aid yet but hopefully I will soon…I’m from NY and female :)

Is it true that Drexel Undergrad gives out full rides to National Merit Finalists? I remember reading that somewhere.

last year they awarded full tuition to NMF (around 39K per year)

What’s the difference between full ride and full tuition? Does a full ride generally include Room and Board?

Full tuition covers just tuition. Full ride covers tuition + room & board.
