DS’s plan is to go to med school eventually. Which is a better choice for undergrad? Leaning towards Drexel Pennoni Honors College since they have coop program or Lafayette which I heard has good advisor to keep you on track.
Accepted: Lafayette , Binghamton , Drexel Pennoni Honors College, Hofstra , City College of New York, Fairfield
Waitlisted: UCSD , U of Miami, Boston College , Northeastern
Guaranteed Transfer 2nd year: Boston U
Rejected: UCLA
Any advice appreciated.
Drexel is urban. Lafayette is much less so.
Drexel is large and is somewhat adjacent to Penn. Lafayette is smaller.
Which fits the student?
You might check pre-med advising outcomes - vs. “which I heard keep you on track”.
What is the major? How would co-op help in this case? And is the student interested in co-op?
This is likely a student fit question more than which is best.
Oh - BU 2nd year - nope - no way.
Good luck.
Are both the same net cost?
Net cost = (tuition, fees, room, board) - (grants, scholarships
Are both within budget without parental loans?
