Any suggestions?
I am looking for a complete well-rounded solid program in Biomed.

How do you think about Biomedical Engineering job opportunity in New Jersey after graduation? How is the Intern and Co-op programs Rutgers-NB provides?

I hesitate to choose it as my freshmen year. I may choose ECE or other traditional engineering. I am open. Do you have comments on his?

Hope to get back from you.

I’m a big fan of Drexel, but Biomed is better undertaken at a school with a strong bio department and an associated medical school.

Do you where I could find Biomedical Engineering Rankings recent year? not 2007.

I like to know rankings for Drexel, Rutgers, UConn and Stony Brook.

Hey! Just a bit confused on the feedback…
Along with co-op and research, I was also wondering if study abroad is popular at Drexel and Rutgers. Also, the overall campus life as I’ll be spending four years.

Does Drexel even have study abroad?

Could I suggest that you check the individual colleges websites; then check princton review at a book store or library.

For campus life research to to www.s.t.u.d.e.n.t.s.r.e.v.i.e.w.com [delete the “.”] for reviews from students.

Also check [ASEE.org - ASEE - Publications - College Profiles - Search the Profiles](<a href=“Page not found”>Page not found) for data on programs, demographics, engineering majors, engineering specific admissions data etc

I heard that bioMed is so limited becasue it is so young and people think taking a traditional
major such as ChE, EE, ME and CE as a backup is much better than taking biomed.

What are your opinion about this?

BME is definitely upcoming in the future. I mean the 20th century was the era of electronics and computers so this century(21st) will be the rise of Medicine incorporated with Computers. e.g. Stem Cells!

Is it hard to find jobs for BME undergrad? even co-op and intern.
Doing job search, very less than big four.(I was scared). Is this why a lots of have not
this major?

No body doubt this has wonderful future. But it is not for undergrad. Good for Ph.d or MS to do research. Not actual jobs in the market. So you have to stay school more years.

Studying hard and making less money is future for undergrad. I hope this is not true, but it is reality.
