Hello,
I was recently accepted at Drexel University as a Communications major with 3 Co-op.
Personally, what I like about Drexel is the co-op program and I think it can be extremely helpful in finding a job. However, I know Drexel isn’t particularly known for its humanity majors, so I’m not sure if it is worth going to a pretty expensive school with more emphasis on majors like engineering and business.
Does anyone have any information about the communications program? For example, how rigorous is the course at Drexel? How helpful is the faculty?
Any information about the major helps.
Thanks
If possible go to accepted student day. They will have break out groups by major and you can chat directly with professors in your department and current students. If you can’t do that, call admissions asn see if they can arrange for you contact that department directly.
Either way, the tracking (each course you take each quarter is laid out online). Its takes some navigating around the website but you’ll be able to see what is star as far course section for the five years. Fora large school Dresel is amazing organized when it comes to advising and academics. Best of luck
Unfortunately I cannot attend either of the accepted student day.
I probably will email the faculty head; I recently got a letter from the Department of Communication too, saying to email the faculty head if I had any questions.
Thanks!
