Has anyone made it through Dartmouth with a decent social life without getting completely wasted?

Define "completely wasted" - though the answer is almost certainly yes, regardless of your definition, it'll obviously be more helpful to you if we know what you mean by "completely wasted".

Absolutely, yes. For one, there are multiple people in my fraternity who are completely dry, but still have a great social life. Aside from that, I know plenty of others who don't drink or drink little.

Nobody is ever going to force you to drink, and its perfectly acceptable to not drink

As for me, I never thought in a million years I was going to drink when I got here, but now I find myself going to frats multiple times a week.

I guess we could lower that to just getting drunk, instead of completely wasted.

sneamia - I am a freshman (not in special housing) and the majority of my floor does not drink. Granted, it's a small floor, but drinking is by no means the only social outlet at Dartmouth.

What kind of beer pong do you all play? in the south, we play with a triangle of cups on both ends of the table and throw or bounce the ball in the cups. people think i'm crazy when I talk about playing on a ping pong table with paddles.

its straight-up pong with paddles. and yes, high school tends to be reluctant to played the higher-skilled paddle pong.
