Dropping a GE Cluster

If you drop a cluster after just one quarter, do you still waive one of the GE requirements, or is it all or nothing. I asked one of the group leaders at orientation, and they told me you do. However, reading the syllabus, it says:

"Upon completion of the entire year-long Cluster course, students will satisfy 2 course requirements in the Social Sciences, 1 in the Life Sciences areas of General Education (GE), as well as the Writing II requirement."

Which makes it sound like it is in fact all or nothing. Any one have experience with the clusters and know the answer to this?

It doesn’t sound like all or nothing to me. You’re just worrying.

You just miss out on the extra GE credit/Writing II requirement, I believe. You still get credit for whatever GE you completed (otherwise you’d be essentially taking two worthless classes your first two quarters with the cluster…)
