dropping an online class

Hello collegeconfidential, i am in a bit of a predicament. I am taking AP computer science only through florida virtual school. I want to drop it because i am about 6 chapters behind and there is no way i can catch up. However, i am past the grace period for dropping the class and it will appear as an F on my transcript. I haven't gotten accepted anywhere, however i am just wondering how will colleges look at this. i am taking 4 other APs this year (without this class) and i have gotten As in all of them in the first semester, so i don't think the colleges will care too much, however i really want to know what you guys think and if its possible that a school can rescind my acceptance (assuming i get in anywhere). I am mainly concerned with the university of florida and florida state university. my gpa is a weighted 4.7 and unweighted 3.625 and i have taken 10 APs and gotten As in all of them and 5s on the tests. so again, would a school rescind my acceptance because of the F that i would get from dropping the class, despite my otherwise good grades and ECs? i am mostly worried about UF.
thanx in advance

Don’t drop the class.
