I've read a lot of threads about dropping APs here, but I was wondering if it would hurt my admission chances if I dropped an AP class (like AP Chemistry) second semester of my senior year. It's just I don't want to deal with it any more, this is our teacher's first year teaching AP and I'm barely learning any more than I did in Honors Chemistry last year and I'm really unprepared for the AP exam.
I can stick it out through this semester and get an A, but I'd really like to drop it if I could second semester so I don't have to do the extra work. Do you think admissions would look down upon me dropping the second semester of AP Chem, or are they even going to see it?
I'm doing Bio major by the way too...should I try and get a tutor and stick it out instead of thinking of dropping it?

They will definitely see it; whatever college you go to will request your second semester senior year grades. You should stick with it; if you don’t wanna do the work and you say you can get an A in it, then just slack of a bit and ride with the B second semester.
