Ok so i got into Villanova and Binghmaton. Waiting on NYU, BU, and GWU. I originally signed up for 8 classes with 2 half year electives with both electives in my second semester. I dropped both of those half year electives which i didnt even start because they were in the second semester. Will the colleges that i am looking at care that i dropped these courses? My current schedule is Creative Writting, AP Calc AB, AP Econ, Physics, Spanish, AP Govt. I dropped sports management and marketing electives.
The ones you got accepted to probably not, I dropped AP micro and AP Comp and UNC still wants me
@ikooldiscovery What about the ones i am waiting to hear from? They would only see my mid year report which doesnt have those two electives. They will see my final report though which would have both of those classes missing from the beggining of senior year transcript if they accept me.
Those schools are 50/50 in a sense, since your highest level classes are AP and the classes your dropping are lower tier electives, it should not be a problem.
I had dropped AP Micro/ AP Macro (ironically I am going to be an Econ major) during the college application process and already sent my transcripts, so my counselor made me email all my schools making sure me dropping AP Micro/ AP macro won’t negatively affect my admission decision. None of the colleges had a issue with it.
