Dropping the Writing Section on Day of Test?

My D has registered to take the ACT w/ writing tomorrow. She’s now decided not to take the writing portion. I called ACT and they said just to tell the proctor and they would make the change.

Has anyone done this? Any problems making the change the morning of? She just doesn’t want to run into any problems tomorrow morning.

The proctor will probably have your daughter sign a form acknowledging the change. Shouldn’t be a problem.

On test day they’ll give her the option not to take it several times. She just have to say she changed her mind.
