Hi all!

I’m an international student from Korea / living in Japan.
Currently a senior, I have been accepted to good liberal arts colleges in the States like Colby and Macalester, but am unable to attend for financial reasons.
So I’m attending a pretty well-known and prestigious private university in Japan which has a dual degree program with American University.

If admitted to the program, I’ll be spending my sophomore and junior year at AU and go back to Japan for the 4th year.
Upon graduation, I will be able to acquire BA degrees in I.R. (or whatever I choose) from both schools. To get into the dual degree program, a very good academic standing is required and AU will screen the program applications on its own…

But still, do you think that getting an AU degree in this way will make it look any less prestigious especially since I will be seen as "not-officially-admitted’ to AU from the first place?

Please help me out!
Thank you
