Recently I came across multiple dual degree programs. Nearly all of these programs involved going to a liberal arts college for 3 years and earning a bachelors degree. Then you move on to another college for 2 years, often times a very prestigious one such as Columbia, Wash U, or Dartmouth, and receive an engineering degree.

I was just wondering have any of you heard of other programs like this dealing with other degrees/schools?

Transfer admission to the “2” school is not guaranteed. Also, there is the possibility that the “2” school may not offer as good a financial aid package as one has at the “3” school.

yea usually you have to maintain in between a 3.0 and a 3.30 but my main question is do colleges do this for other degrees and not just engineering?

I haven’t heard of any for other degrees, which isn’t to say they don’t exist. The 3:2 programs exist to fill a niche for students that want the LAC-type education but ordinarily can’t do it since LACs seldom have an engineering college.
