I’m looking to do the dual degree program with Brown and RISD, but I’ve heard that there are many scheduling errors and unforeseen difficulties with the merger. Is it worth it? Does someone in Dual Degree have anything they want to share? Should I just choose a university with a strong art program?

I would love to hear things about this program too. I heard it is extremely hard to get into.
Having seen and interacted with the Brown/RISD students, I will say that you must be incredibly motivated and driven, both artistically and academically, if you wish to be considered. This is not for someone who simply got good grades high school while doing art on the side. The people in this program are on another level.
