<p>Some of my peers who have one or none AP classes take CC classes thinking that it will improve their chances of being admitted into a good university. I know that taking some CC classes in high school and during the summer may help a student graduate with a bachelor's degree earlier, but does it really improve the chances of admission to great colleges? <p>Taking challenging courses improves your chances. AP is probably better when it’s available because it’s more standardized, but almost any kind of college-level course is good.
And I imagine it probably also depends what courses you’re taking. I assume taking an academic subject would look better than some random elective.</p>
