Taking Community College Courses as a High Schooler

I'm going into the 11th grade this fall and have been getting bored with my classes. All my classes even my AP and Honors courses are so easy that I'm just losing interest in school. I want to be challenged more so I'm signing up for some CC classes in the fall, most likely upper level science classes not offered at my school.

My school district doesn't allow for duel enrollment so they won't actually show up on my transcript. Even if the classes don't appear on my transcript, will colleges look at them when I start applying to universities my senior year?

How will CC courses affect my chances of getting into better schools or receiving merit based scholarships?

They will appear on your transcript, just not your high school one. These classes will appear on your sGPA and your cumulative college GPA.

My Advice: Good luck, don’t make a B…

Make sure that the colleges you want to go to accept those CC units.
By the way, I have this urge to correct you: it’s dual enrollment, not “duel”

I challenge you to a duel! Let’s play children’s card games.

I’ve taken six college classes so far, and I’m taking a seventh in the fall to wrap it up. I’m taking them more to show colleges than to get credit.
