Dual enrollment credits at Chicago

I am current a junior and I have been taking many college courses, I will have about 60 credits by May 2012. I am wondering since I have so many credits, will UChicago treat me as a transfer student or a freshman?

Freshman. I don’t think they’ll accept most of those credit hours.

I have been taking dual enrollment classes (Calc 1, Calc 2, IR) at a local research (NOT CC) university. It’s pretty well respected, and the curriculum is rigorous. My question is: how do I go about transferring the credits? I don’t have 60. I have like 10 for DEs.
So should I try to get them transferred (I guess send my transcript+syllabus? I’m not sure) or just take the placement tests (for the math classes) or what?

Sorry, for some reason I always think of CC’s when I think dual-enrollment. Use this link for more info: [Courses & Programs of Study](http://collegecatalog.uchicago.edu/credit/index.shtml)

You should send a transcript of all of your college courses to the school. They’ll consider you a first year, but, if you’re lucky, some of your courses will transfer. Most (if not all) of them won’t, though. Still, send the information. Your adviser will review it with you.
