Dual-enrollment transfer: am I a freshman or a junior? Help!!

I was initially rejected as an undergrad freshman for the Fall 2016 semester, but the admissions office changed my application type to that of a transfer student and actually ending up accepting me for my intended major!

Now, my question is…am I going to be considered a junior or a freshman?

I’m graduating high school with 63 credit hours from dual-enrollment, and each credit should transfer since they’re from another state university. I was told by admissions that I would technically be considered a junior. What exactly does this mean? Will I only have two years to graduate? If that is the case, would double or triple majoring allow for me to stay the full 4 years? I’ve already skipped several grades so I don’t want to graduate any earlier than necessary. I want the traditional 4 year experience. Anyone know what I can do to get that??

Why don’t you do add on a +1 MS degree to make it a total of 3 years and add a year of summer school abroad doing research? you will still get the traditional experience and will have 2 unique experiences under your belt. they do expect you to graduate in 2 if you are a transfer student since you will only need to do about 60 credits to fulfill requirements.

or specifically ask them to allow you to take another intensive major?

Can you visit UF and talk with someone in advising?

I’d contact UF advising for a correct ruling, but…

My understanding is that you would be considered a transfer student, accepted by the college/major that you stated on your application.

Our D is also HSAA, but she was accepted for Summer B as a freshman.
