Dual Enrollment vs. AP Classes

I am stressing like never before about this topic. I’m dual enrolled and going into my senior year. I have the choice of fully/early admitting to the college, but I’m not sure if I should. Here are the pros and cons of both:

DO fully/early admit
pros: more freedom, could get a job (?), participate in more clubs…basically more time for extracurricular things
cons: no AP classes

DON’T fully/early admit
pros: AP classes, see high school friends more
cons: a lot less free time (night classes), less club participation, and overall more pressure/stress

Here are the problems:

  • I need to do my extracurricular activities because I don’t do sports or music (terrible, I know)
  • I want my senior schedule to seem rigorous, but I don’t know what colleges will think if I only take dual enrollment classes
  • I really wanted to take AP Bio, Stat, and Calc
  • sometimes AP > dual enrollment
  • I’m not too worried about the friend thing, but it would be nice to be able to have somewhat of a “high school experience”

Any advice on what to do?
