I am going to be a senior in high school this year, and I am wondering which would be the best decision for me.I finished all of my credits needed to graduate at high school and additional credits ,and I am allowed to do early admission to a community college, for free. However,I initially signed up for dual enrollment which would be,me going to high school for a couple of classes and then also being in college classes at the same time. The people at my school told me about early admitting until recently, way after the deadline passed, but they said they can sign me up for it,if I would like, considering I have all my credits done.If I sign up for early admission I am afraid I wouldn’t get the best teachers at the college considering everyone else chose their classes since the beginning of June. But,I would be getting college credits that can be transferred anywhere I would like to go.Also,if I were to dual enroll,I would be going to high school and college at the same time, and could possibly get a higher gpa considering I would be having college credits go in plus whatever classes I choose to take at school.(I would be having about 4 classes I believe,at high school, and about 4 classes at the college) I’ve asked some friends what they would do if they were in my situation, some said to do early admission and some say to dual enroll because it is also going to be my last year of high school and I wouldn’t be getting it back, and for the reasons I’ve listed.I am kind of confused on what to do,I just want an option where I can get my gpa higher because I will be applying to colleges soon. Please tell me what you would do.
