Dual Enrollment: Will credits transfer?

Sorry if this repeated question, but I can’t find any info that directly answers my question. I’m currently a sophomore and am interested in dual enrolling next year with my community college. I’m not sure if this makes a difference but I’m a Florida resident. So I was just wondering if someone could post a list of colleges who accept dual credits. I already know instate colleges will accept most or all credits, but can someone send me a list of top 50 schools who accept them?
Thanks in advance!

There are certain questions that are very difficult to answer here easily. This is one of them – you will need to look at each school you are potentially interested in, and see how each one handles this.

I used to work at a university, and we had a place on our website where interested students could enter the specific course/institution to see if it would transfer.

I looked at Yale’s website (not sure what’s on your list of top 50 schools) and one criteria for them is the institution must be a four-year accredited institution that grants a bachelor’s degree, so work at a community college would not transfer. In addition, at Yale, ANY work done while in secondary school will not transfer for credit.

So if you really want to know the answer to this question, I think you are going to need to spend some time looking up the specific policy of each school you are interested in.

When my S applied to college, we created a spreadsheet and we compared schools in multiple categories, for example, how they handle AP credit, application deadlines, distribution requirements for a degree, etc. We used the list to narrow down the list of which schools he would apply to, since there are so many great schools out there.

You would need to check with each individual college you are considering.

The link below (a bit dated) will give you an idea. Some schools are probably off the list and a few others might have entered, but the list should provide a starting point in your search:
