On one of my apps it asks you to list your senior year classes and then asks you if the class if dual or college credit. Does an AP class fall into that category?

I thought dual and college credit was the same thing?

I know you can get college credit from AP classes.

Sorry I meant dual and college credit was one category. To clarify things up, it asks you “Dual/college credit?” then there’s an option for yes or no.

No, they don’t. AP classes are in their own category. Some high schools offer courses for which you’re concurrently enrolled in a community college (for example, at my school, any third-level language or higher, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Finite Math, Discrete Math…). While AP credit is dependent on the college, dual enrollment credits generally count no matter what.
