due nov 1 means BY nov 1 or ON nov 1?

<p>I think it’s probably 11:59 PM EST on November 1, 2011.</p>

<p>It’s until the last second of Nov. 1 (right before it turns into Nov. 2). And don’t assume it’s EST. It could be Pacific time if it’s a west coast school.</p>

<p>^ It’s best to assume so IMO, better to think it’s 9 PM than 12 and realize you were late. Of course, I’d check the dates for myself but just saying I’ve been bitten by that EST vs. PST thing before.</p>
