duke bme or jhu bme??

Hi, i recently got off Duke's waitlist, and now i'm really stuck trying to figure out where to go. There are pros and cons to both sides...basically many of the points olympia brought up in the Duke v cornell post http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/duke-university/517609-duke-cornell.html

I like Baltimore better than Durham... (although I doubt I'd be spending much time outside campus with BME and all....). Also, even though Duke's BME is right after JHU's, there still seems to be a large gap in their quality?

But then again, JHU's known for its cut-throat competition, and it seems difficult if I want to double-major in something else.

And at Duke, are the populations really that segregated?

Anyone go through this same decision? Suggestions would be great!

I chose Duke BME over Hopkins BME. Duke's BME program is broader (1/3 go to med school, rest go in engineering, business, law, military, etc.), whereas JHU is more physiology/med-school centric. The tipping factor for me the social atmosphere, school spirit, perceived cut-throat nature of JHU, and what I perceived to be the general happiness of the student body. Others in the same situation may choose JHU. Both great programs so you can't go wrong. Do NOT pick on what your perceive has more prestige - they are both great. Pick on where you think you'd fit in best and would be the happiest.
