Duke Chemical Engineering

I know that Duke does not have a major in chemical engineering, but I am really interested in the school anyway. Is there anyway to get around this, or do I just have to do a different major?

Unfortunately, Duke doesn’t have a chemical engineering degree. The Pratt School of Engineering, however, offers degrees in the following areas:

Biomedical Engineering

Civil and Environmental Engineering

Electrical and Computer Engineering

Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science

The closest thing in my suggestion, if you really wanted to study chemical engineering, would be to major in one of these areas, to get a broad exposure to the field of engineering. Then, you would double major in chemistry, and proceed to a graduate school which could provide you with the resources for in-depth knowledge in the field of chemical engineering.
