It’s not bad. But, be careful that it does not look puffed up. The parts about how many cans/books donated…the EC itself is enough, you don’t want to sould like you are just adding fluff. Of course, tennis is tennis and that is great. I think the way you lay it out is important. It tells your “story”. for instance, which is the most important? you have to “rank” them in the app:)
your EC’s are incredible oh my god hahaha i’m honestly incredibly impressed
I honestly think you’ll get in Duke ED no question as well as the rest of your schools
Your entire resume is outstanding. Why not apply to other Ivies as well? You have just as much as chance then anyone else. One thing to focus on is to centralize your ec’s toward a specific passion or major that you want to study.
Chance back?http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1818642-stanford-rea-rd-cornell-brown-dartmouth-ucb-ucla-etc-p1.html
You’ve certainly got great stats so don’t be worried there. I would say that your ECs are a bit common and not too unique so you’re going to have to try harder to stand out in other parts of your application i.e. your essays. But if you feel good about them then I would say you are certainly competitive for top schools but really, it’s up to the admissions gods for those top tier universities. Admissions is fickle, my friend. I wish you the best of luck!
Oh, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could chance me back!
