<p>I thought they were pretty hilarious and offered different perspectives into the personalities, talents, and experiences of first-year Duke students.</p>

last year's frat movie was AWESOME though</p>

<p>yeah but take into account they only have 2 weeks to do these movies, on top of everything else they have to do.</p>
<p>i'm friends w/ the guy in the frat movie. awesome movie. my dorm (pegram) had a very disappointing movie. my roommate was supposed to be in it, but it's just really rough. you get no time to film and edit them, which means long days, on top of a lot of work/meetings/tenting (in my roomie's case)/etc. it's hard. we're not filmmakers (actually one of the directors has gone to film programs in the past, and he won an award this year, i think..)</p>
<p>One of my friends was one of the directors. She did a good job with it, even though they didn't win overall - it's pretty funny.</p>
<p>i guess it is pretty hard to do them then. i didnt know they only get 2 weeks. plus its not like they dont have anything else to do. i proabably would've sucked if i did one.</p>
<p>Pretty funny to see Dickie Brodhead "acting".</p>
<p>I gave up trying to see the movies after waiting for all the "negotiating" and "configuring", which just wouldn't end!</p>
