<p>Anyone who looks at this New York Times chart that's been posted on several threads, please note that the study was done last year, putting it right in the middle of the lacrosse scandal at Duke. I certainly don't trust those figures from last year, considering that I'd imagine Duke's yield went down quite a bit because of the scandal (I do remember hearing that a significant number of waitlist candidates were admitted--moreso than usual, at least).</p>
<p>duke25...that's like saying Giants Stadium is better than the Colosseum, or the Indianapolis Speedway is better than the Circus Maximus, or MoMA is better than the Vatican Museums. :)</p>
<p>The study wasn't done last year, it was done like 8 years ago and gets reprinted somewhere once in a while</p>
