Hi, I have posted this in the Duke forum but thought I would move it here for perhaps a more balanced response :)

I would major in Econ at Duke or would go for an Economics degree at Warwick, UK.
I ultimately want to work in the UK either in banking or go into Law after a conversion course.

Which would you pick and why?

If you want to work in the UK then go for Warwick, its a well respected Uni in the UK and probably abroad too.

If money is not an issue, I’d say Duke.
Just a better college experience - everything from campus life to teaching - imho.

And what do you mean by "ultimately’?
Straight out of undergrad or do you not mind working in the US for maybe a year? Duke’s well known in the finance world.

If you want to work anywhere outside the US, go to Warwick.

Where are you from?
Is money an issue?
Where do you want to work?
Do you want a social/party school?

I would pick Duke. I am certain you can still get a job in banking, but I have a feeling that when you go to Duke you might prefer to stay in the US.
