a rigorous sports camp…for what sport (sorry …you probobly said).are you planning on being a recruited athlete??

my financial situation sucks haha.
but my dad has been putting away for my college for a while now, but it isn’t enough to cover 4 years of an ivy league college.

and kayakmom, it’s not for a particular sport, just sports in general like its 24/7 sports.
and no, i’m not planning on becoming a recruited athlete, but i’ve been playing sports since the womb (not literally)

lindsay78: Princeton ended its ED program in 2006.

I’d say dillo89’s list, except match for Duke.
And depending on essay/recs, less of a reach for Ivies.

(Sorry I’m a little late on this post) but have you looked at U of Miami? (Of course you probably have, you live in Florida). Anyway, check it out. I love it!
Great extracurriculars! I would say Duke is a 60% chance for you. But something to consider - a friend of mine that was accepted there said he received no financial aid whatsoever (and he desperately needed it too). Keep in mind if you apply ED anywhere you probably won’t receive financial aid.

Duke: Low Reach
Princeton: Reach
Yale: Reach
Penn: Reach
Stanford: Reach
Cornell: Reach
UCLA: Match
Vanderbilt: Low Reach
Dartmouth: Reach
University of Florida: Safety
UNC-Chapel Hill: Match

Qualifying for nationals is no longer an achievement. My district had 11 people attend the CFL debate qualifiers, with 5 quals given out. If you win an award or final there, then its an accomplishment.

Sorry for replying to an old thread!
