Hi I just had a quick question. Duke’s website says they want the scores to be sent by November 1 for ED. So if my scores are still pending but I sent my scores before Nov 1, would I be ok? Would they get them in time even if it was after the deadline?
I have this question as well. My Duke Account says they have not yet received my scores or CSS despite sending them all Wednesday. It might be because it’s the weekend and it updates every 3 business** days but I’m kind of worried as well
Schools usually mean received by November 1. To request them Wednesday and expect them to be there by Monday is not good.
It probably should be fine. If scores aren’t available, the readers will come back to your file later. I believe the admissions office also can directly download the scores from the ETS.
@sgopal2 my logic was that if they accept November SAT scores and October ACT scores then I should hopefully be okay
Apart from the auto admits, my guess is that most files are read now until the week before thanksgiving. The committee probably starts meeting to make decisions right before thanksgiving.
So as long as your scores are received relatively soon you are probably ok. This is just my guess. Call the admissions office to be sure.
