Hey anyone know whether Duke University will offer full/near full aid to an international student transferring from a state university?Computer Engineering and Math double major, 4.0 GPA,doing research with Math and Statistics Dept.Expecting good recs..is it worth applying because it is not possible for me to go without 80 percent aid ..that is why i am at this university in the first place!! Please help!!I love Duke's math program.. i want to go!Also are there any good schools out there which offer good funds to people like me??
P.S: I am pursuing a bachelor's degree..

I wish it were possible as you seem to truly like Duke’s program, but there is no financial aid available to international transfer students. Sorry! :(

Schools similar academically to Duke that I believe may supply aid to international students are:

Columbia (call to make sure? Looking at their information, it seems difficult, but possible)

Penn (extremely limited as well, unfortunately. But there’s hope?)

Unfortunately, there are very few schools that accept transfers AND are need-blind for international transfer students (Dartmouth, Amherst, Williams, Yale, MIT). Columbia and Penn are not need-blind for international students, let alone international transfer students.
