I have a son who was just accepted today as a transfer to Duke for the fall. His first 2 years at his current school, he had his own off-campus apartment. He is a dedicated student and likes to minimize distractions. I really know nothing about life at Duke. Do transfers even get offered on-campus housing? Are their plentiful options for studio or on bedroom apartments off-campus? Has everything affordable already been rented out for the fall?
