so…you’re saying i have a chance
I submitted ACT test scores and I have the tulips
Just saw tulips on Wake’s insta too. Probably just trying to show their Northeast applicants what a real spring looks like
Were there two instruction emails or just the one sent out today?
i don’t even know what tulips look like
Did anyone in CA get a likely letter?
Are likely letters just for URM and Athletes?
I think the number of tulips matches the ACT score.
Maths checks out lol
We did receive the new instructions email today
Was it saying the same thing as the one sent out before?
is there any chance of getting in without a likely letter? i feel like so many people got one this year :((
Was it the same as last one
Usually a tiny group of people get likely letters at prestigious colleges like Duke. Majority of those accepted do not, from my knowledge
Yes, agree based on prior trends. But there seems to be a high number in this forum that have received in last 2 days.
The letter said the applicant is among a “small number” of the 49,500 applicants that truly stood out.
It’s just that a lot who got likelies post due to excitement.
What exactly is the point of sending likely letters three days before decisions are released? I can understand sending them earlier in the season, to win over applicants who might be getting offers from other competitive schools. But sending them this close to the release date? Are there T20s releasing today? Is there a big risk these students are going to enroll elsewhere over the weekend? And are they sending them to all admits? If not, why not? I don’t get it. Also the “check your portal Monday” email just seems cruel for those who are getting a rejection. Just freaking tell us already.
How rare is it to get a likely letter? I have friends who got ones from Columbia and Duke.
I think its supposed to be extremely rare but idk for sure. Don’t let it discourage you if you don’t get one though because not everyone that is accepted gets one!
They extended the intent to enroll date until May 3rd, so I believe they are trying to give their top applicants those extra days that they should regularly have. Just an idea.
