Duke University Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

also thurs, april 1st could be a possibility considering the increase in apps. i guess we will find out soon enough

for me, it says css not received but fafsa is. i didnt aubmit the css tho. Is it still good that my checklist is there or is this checklist disappearing/appearing thing only for those who did financial aid?

I don’t think the checklist is actually any indication of a decision at this point. It’s too early to tell, and people’s portals generally look the same.

but in ur experience - do u know if your comment applies only to people who applied for fin aid in ed? or not. And how sure are you is it. like one person or everyone regardelss of if they applied or not for aid

I don’t know how it applies to people who did not apply for financial aid. The indicator was that, on decision day when decisions had already come out, if you checked the financial aid checklist and it was still there, then you were admitted. I don’t know how this would apply for regular decision or if it even will.

Hi, guys. My checklist just disappeared (not the financial aid one, the regular one. I did not apply financial aid). Is that an indicator? Is the decision coming out? Are your checklists still there?

decisions will probably come out in late March

do you still have anything udner financial aid side or no

I still have my financial aid checklist and two new IDOC related forms have popped up even though I swear I didn’t need to do anything w IDOC for Duke before. Above the checklist it says: " Note: Some applicants may be required to submit copies of tax returns and/or additional documentation to the College Board.

If this is the case, you will receive an email communication from the College Board providing you with instructions on how to submit any additional requirements through their online IDOC service.

If you do not receive a request to submit additional information, the Karsh Office of Undergraduate Financial Support has enough information to provide an estimated financial aid award at the time of admission."

Yeah. I agree. Thank you.

I didn’t apply for financial aid, so under financial aid side, it just said “you have not applied for financial aid.”

oh ok

I wonder if Duke will release late March or early April. I know their website says late March, but so does Harvard’s website and other Ivy League school websites even though we know they’re coming out April 6th. Also, the decision letter for deferred applicants says April 2021.

Has Duke released their merit scholarship finalists?

@mrao2025 The Duke University states that " Students selected as finalists for merit scholarships for the Class of 2025 will be notified by email no later than mid-March." so maybe by Monday the finalists will be notified.

How hard is it to get one?

@user_390622 Extremely difficult.

Someone on Reddit said they received a scholarship notification and a welcome to the class of 2025 letter this afternoon. So scholarships might be out for some people…Duke is as difficult to get into and as hard to get a scholarship to as most Ivy’s. It’s a great school.

@user_390622 It seems there are around 70 scholarships . If you think that almost 50.000 students have applied you can imagine what are the odds.
