Duke vs. UChicago vs. NYU Stern

What the title says. Has anyone visited any two out of three?

I know NYU Stern isn't very comparable to Duke or Chicago because of its extreme focus on business, but I had to put it out there because this indecision is driving me crazy.

I have visited Chicago which has an excellent academic program, but the setting might not be ideal for some people. I'm sure it's a good city to be in, but the area around campus isn't the best. NYU is in a much better area but obviously there's a strong business focus and overall NYU isn't on the same level as the other two. Duke has excellent academics also and a nice campus setting if that is what you want. The social scene I think leaves something to be desired (unless you are into Greek-centered social life) and I'm not sure how Chicago compares since I was only there for a short time.

Overall you will have to decide which fits you best but academically you can't go wrong with Duke.

Thanks for the reply! You're absolutely right about finding the right "fit"; I plan on visiting all three if I can convince my parents that yes, the plane tickets are worth it. Is the neighborhood around Chicago really worse off than the area around NYC?

Yes.

Duke is no. 6 in the Wallstreet Journal Feeder School Ranking:
