Okay, can you double major at penn? are there minors? this is a dumb question i know, and I think somewhere my brain knows this, but just won’t retrieve the information. I’ve been looking at the site but I must be skipping over where they talk about there policies and such about this.

also if they’re in related fields (think natural sciences), will this likely take me more than 4 years, if possible to double major?

i'm tired too, no worries. yes, you can double major. u just need to fulfill the requirements for both, usually 12-16 cu's each. U can minor in almost anything u can major in, as far as i know, and there are a few fields that are minor only, i think. Minors are usually 6 cu's. The general requirement is 12 cu's, plus you'll probably take a language. You can probably count 2-4 classes to both your major and your gen req, more if your 2 majors are in diverse fields. So in sum, it should be about 38 cu's minimum for a double major. over 8 semesters = 4.75 classes/semester. If you want to do it in 4 you can, but life will be easier if you can do summer study, and get the core out of the way with a few AP's.
That may be a little disjointed but, as we established, we're tired. If that made thing worse, and not better, i can probably make that make more sense. :)

The short answer is "Yes" :). If you want to double major with another school (like Wharton and College), then you need to meet GPA requirements.
